What Chexx stores

  • Your email address and name. With Google sign-in, also your Google profile picture link.
  • The openings, lines and decks you build, your practice and study results, and your settings.
  • Sign-in sessions, with the IP address and browser they came from, so you stay signed in and the sign-in pages can be rate limited.
  • A log of sign-in links sent to your email, so Chexx can tell an expired link from a used one.

That’s all. Chexx has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

How it’s used

Only to run Chexx for you: sign you in, save your repertoire and schedule your reviews. It isn’t sold or shared for marketing. The site’s administrator can see each account’s email and how much it has created, to manage account limits.

Services Chexx relies on

  • Vercel hosts the app.
  • Neon hosts the database (United States).
  • Resend sends sign-in emails.
  • Google handles “Continue with Google”. Chexx asks only for your email, name and profile picture.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete account removes your account and everything in it straight away. Things you delete inside Chexx are removed for good within two days, after the 10-second undo.
